This page explains how to permanently delete your Dokitscript account and the data associated with it. Dokitscript is operated by LEDOFFYX LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16642301), 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, United Kingdom.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account at any time, directly from the app or from the website:

From the Dokitscript app (Android / iOS)

Open the app and go to the Account tab.
Tap Delete Account.
Confirm your identity, then confirm the deletion.

From the website

Sign in at dokitscript.com/account.html.
Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account.
Enter your current password (if applicable) and type DELETE to confirm.

What gets deleted

When you confirm, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed:

Your account profile (name, email address, password).
All your transcriptions, translations, summaries, captions and other AI-generated outputs.
Uploaded audio/video files and submitted video URLs.
Your usage history and plan association.

What is retained, and for how long

For legal and anti-fraud reasons, a limited set of data is kept after deletion:

Fraud prevention (90 days): a one-way hash of your email address and your device fingerprint, used solely to prevent abuse. It is permanently erased after 90 days.
Billing records: transaction and invoice data is retained for the period required by accounting and tax law, and may be held by our payment providers (Google Play, Stripe). These records cannot identify your deleted content.

After these retention periods, the corresponding data is permanently deleted from our systems.

When it happens

Your account and content are deleted immediately upon confirmation. The retained items above are erased automatically once their retention period ends.
