Dokitscript supports TikTok, Instagram (Reels and posts with audio), and YouTube Shorts. Simply paste the URL of any public video and we'll handle the rest. Private videos and deleted content cannot be transcribed.
Dokitscript uses OpenAI Whisper, one of the most accurate speech-to-text models available. Accuracy is typically very high for clear audio. Results may vary depending on background noise, strong accents, or very fast speech. For best results, use videos with clear and audible speech.
Over 90 languages are supported, including English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, German, Japanese, and many more. Select "Auto-detect" and we'll identify the language automatically, or choose a specific language for better accuracy.
Common reasons for a failed transcription:
The video is private or deleted
The video has no audio track
The video is longer than 10 minutes (our current limit)
The URL is not a supported format
Temporary network or server issue — try again in a few seconds

Your privacy is important to us. We do not store any video files. Audio is downloaded temporarily, transcribed, and immediately deleted from our servers — the whole process takes seconds. Transcription text is saved to your account history only if you are logged in. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
