Dokitscript uses advanced AI with human-level accuracy, one of the most accurate speech-to-text models available. Accuracy is typically very high for clear audio. Results may vary depending on background noise, strong accents, or very fast speech. For best results, use videos with clear and audible speech.

Over 90 languages are supported, including English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, German, Japanese, and many more. Select "Auto-detect" and we'll identify the language automatically, or choose a specific language for better accuracy.

Common reasons for a failed transcription:

• The video is private or deleted
• The video has no audio track
• The video exceeds your plan's duration limit (1 min without an account · 3 min Free · 8 min Starter · 35 min Pro · 5 h Business)
• The URL is not a supported format
• Temporary network or server issue, try again in a few seconds

Your privacy is important to us. We do not store any video files. Audio is downloaded temporarily, transcribed, and immediately deleted from our servers, the whole process takes seconds. Transcription text is saved to your account history only if you are logged in. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

You can upgrade to Starter or Pro directly from the pricing page. Choose between monthly ($4.99/mo or $14.99/mo) or annual billing ($39.99/yr or $119.99/yr, 2 months free). Payment is handled securely via Stripe and your new limits apply immediately after checkout.

Yes! Annual plans give you 2 months free compared to monthly billing. Starter goes from $59.88/year to $39.99/year (save $19.89), and Pro from $179.88/year to $119.99/year (save $59.89). You're billed once per year upfront. You can switch between monthly and annual on the pricing page.

Yes, our free plan is permanent, not just a trial. Create a free account and get 5 transcriptions every month at no cost, with no credit card required. You can try the service without an account too (up to 1 transcription per month).

Here are the steps to try:

• Check your spam or junk folder, our emails sometimes land there
• Wait a few minutes and check again, delivery can take up to 5 minutes
• Click "Resend code" on the verification page to get a new email
• Make sure you entered the correct email address when registering
• If your company email rejected the email, try registering with a Gmail or personal address instead

Bulk transcription lets you paste multiple URLs at once and transcribe them all in one click. Starter users can transcribe up to 5 URLs at a time, Pro users up to 10 URLs. Just click the "Bulk" tab in the main widget, paste your URLs (one per line), and hit "Transcribe all". Each result can be copied individually. Bulk is not available on the Free plan.

Yes! Once a transcription is done, go to your History page and click the "SRT" button next to any transcript. This downloads a .srt subtitle file you can import directly into video editors (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut…) or YouTube's caption uploader. SRT export is available on all plans.

Yes, share Dokitscript with friends and both of you earn 3 free credits when they complete their first transcription. Your referral link is in your account dashboard (once logged in, look for the "Refer a friend" section). Credits can be used on top of your monthly plan limit.

Yes, Dokitscript works as a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it like a native app without going through an App Store.

• Android (Chrome): Open dokitscript.com in Chrome. Tap the ⋮ menu and select "Add to Home Screen" (or tap the install banner if it appears automatically). Dokitscript will appear on your home screen like any other app.
• iPhone (Safari): Open dokitscript.com in Safari. Tap the Share button (box with an arrow), then tap "Add to Home Screen". It will appear on your home screen and open in fullscreen mode.

Once installed, Dokitscript opens without the browser address bar, it looks and feels like a native app.

Yes, on Android. Here's how:

1. First, install Dokitscript on your phone (see above).
2. Open TikTok, Instagram or YouTube and find a video you want to transcribe.
3. Tap the Share button in the app.
4. Select Dokitscript from the share sheet.
5. The app opens and the transcription starts automatically, no copy-pasting needed.

This direct share feature works on Android with Chrome. On iPhone, Safari does not support the Web Share Target API, you can still install the app and paste URLs manually.
