Steps on iPhone
Open the video in TikTok
Find the TikTok you want as text. It must be public.
Tap Share, then Copy link
The Share arrow sits on the right side of the video. In the menu that opens, tap Copy link.
Open Dokitscript in your browser
Safari, Chrome or any other browser on iPhone works. Go to this page or to dokitscript.com.
Paste and start
Tap the link box, choose Paste, then start the transcript. It works without a TikTok account.

Can I share straight from TikTok to Dokitscript on iPhone?
Not yet. On iPhone, a website added to the Home Screen does not appear in the system Share menu, so copying the link remains the way to go. Adding Dokitscript to your Home Screen still saves a step: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, the installed web app does show up in the Share menu, as explained in installing Dokitscript on your phone.
What if the video is saved on my iPhone?
Upload the file instead of a link. MP4, M4A, MP3, WAV and a few other formats are accepted. Videos recorded with the iPhone camera are often .mov files, which the transcriber does not take directly: run them through the free video to audio converter first, then upload the result.
Limits to know before you start
- Without an account: 1 transcription per month, TikToks up to 100 seconds.
- Free account: 5 transcriptions and 5 minutes per month, up to 120 seconds per video.
- Longer TikToks: Starter goes up to 10 minutes per video, Creator up to 45 minutes. All plans are on the pricing page.
Common problems on iPhone
- The pasted text has extra words around the link. That is fine: the link is picked out of the text automatically.
- Nothing happens after the first video. Without an account, one transcription per month is included. A free account adds four more, with no card.
- “Video too long”. Without an account the cap is 100 seconds, then 120 seconds on a free account.
- The video plays in TikTok but is refused here. It may be set to friends only or private, which only the creator can change.
