Get your Webex transcript in 3 steps

No Webex integration. No plugin. Just upload and get your transcript.

1

Get your Webex recording

Cloud recording: open Recordings on your Webex site or app and choose "Download" to get an MP4. Local recording: find the file where you saved it, a Webex folder inside Documents by default. A ".arf" file needs converting first with the free Webex Network Recording Player.

2

Upload to Dokitscript

Drag and drop your MP4 or audio file. Turn on "Detect speakers" to label each participant.

3

Get your transcript + summary

Receive a full timestamped transcript. Use AI Summary to instantly generate meeting notes.

Common questions

Where do I find my Webex recording?
Cloud recordings live on your Webex site or in the Webex app, under "Recordings." Open the meeting and choose "Download" to save it as an MP4. Local recordings are saved wherever you chose when the recording started, a Webex folder inside Documents by default.
My Webex recording is a .arf file, what do I do?
ARF is Cisco's older local recording format, not a standard video file. Convert it to MP4 first with the free Webex Network Recording Player, then upload the MP4 to Dokitscript. Cloud recordings download as MP4 directly, no conversion needed.
Does speaker detection work with Webex recordings?
Yes. Dokitscript's speaker detection identifies each meeting participant by voice and labels who said what throughout the transcript.
How long can my Webex recording be?
It depends on your plan. Short recordings fit the free tier, and a full length meeting needs one of the paid plans built for longer files. Check the pricing page for the exact limit on each plan.
